The refuge in the small village
The Tavern of the Two Owls is located in Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses, on the border to Switzerland, in the evocative Great Saint Bernard Valley, at 1648 meters of altitude.
The Tavern of the Two Owls is a 18th century house immersed in the small village of Cuchepache, at the foot of the Gran San Bernardo hill.
The house still maintains its authentic mountain atmosphere thanks to the conservative renovation which highlights the original architecture and materials.
The house includes a large living room with equipped kitchen, stove and a bathroom with shower on the ground floor.
Upstairs there is a sitting room with pellet stove, television, bookcase and board games.
There are two bedrooms, one with 4 beds and one with two beds. In the latter there is a balcony with a wonderful view of the mountains. Going down a wooden staircase, there is a second bathroom with shower and the tavern.
The tavern is a very characteristic space where you can have an aperitif after a long day of hiking, skiing or discovering the surroundings.
Wi-fi is available in the entire property.
